Custom printing FAQ
This custom printing FAQ answers what we hear most. First, shipping and turnaround. Next, artwork, files, and designing online. Then, minimums, payment, proofs, and returns. So you can order with confidence.
How fast do orders ship?
DTF transfers ship in 1 business day. Apparel ships in 3–5 business days. 3D prints ship in 2–4 business days. Plus, you get tracking as soon as it leaves our Kirkland shop.
Is shipping really free?
Yes. Every order ships free within the USA — no minimum.
Is there a minimum order?
No minimums. First, order one piece or a thousand. Then, bulk discounts apply automatically as quantity grows.
What artwork do you need?
A high-resolution file works best. For example, a transparent PNG at 300 DPI or a vector (SVG, AI, PDF). No file yet? Then send your idea and we’ll help set it up. Either way, the proof shows the resolution and size for each location, so you can review it before you order.
What files work best, and what resolution do I need?
For the crispest print, upload a transparent PNG or a vector file (SVG, AI, or PDF) for logos and text — vectors stay sharp at any size. Aim for about 300 DPI at the size it will print (150 DPI is the practical minimum for apparel and DTF). As a rough guide, a full front/back print looks best from a file around 3,300 px wide, a chest print around 1,300 px, and a sleeve around 1,100 px. Your on-screen proof shows the resolution and size for each location, so you can check before you order — and if you don’t have a file, use Design it yourself to create or generate one.
Can I design my shirt online?
Yes. Open Design it yourself to generate art with AI or upload your own, remove the background, and preview it on the garment. Signed in, you can save designs to your account and reorder anytime.
Do I approve a proof before paying?
Yes. Before checkout you see a full proof of exactly what we’ll print, showing the resolution (DPI) and size for each location — front, back, chest and sleeves. You approve it — then you pay.
How do I know the price?
Every product shows its exact price as you build it. Meanwhile, for 3D and CAD work, you upload a model or describe the project and a price appears on the spot.
What if my order isn’t right?
If there’s a defect or print error on our end, we’ll reprint it. Just contact us with a photo within 7 days of delivery.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Venmo, Amazon Pay, and Afterpay.
How do the photo reviews and 15% off work?
Leave a review with a photo of your print and you’ll instantly get a one-time 15% code for your next order. Approved photos may be featured in our gallery.
